I'm not quite sure which shades will add monetary value to your home, but I do know that plantation shutters are a great for increasing the value of your home.
Thanks Jeff! Increasing the value is what I meant and I do happen to like the plantation shutters. Do wooden blinds bring up the value of a home as well?
Don't even bother with real wood. Faux blinds are the way to go! If you're getting ready to sell a home you can really improve the look and feel by adding cheap faux blinds but make sure you do it to every room. The blinds are less expensive and can add depth and color with out taking away from your budget =)
